Six out of ten companies experience losses due to computer crime, despite firewalls and antivirus software, and much of those losses can be attributed to social engineering. A Standard Computer Network is only as strong as your weakest link, and the most successful criminals are adept at finding and exploiting that link, usually leaving the victim unawares. Damaging information can be acquired through the most innocuous-seeming channels. A simple “Hello” can lead to devastating attacks from the individual to Global Level.
