Gathering from what experiences I have had with friends and other people of the loosly affiliated computer community (2600, etc), I have noticed a large number of people are too embarrassed to admit they don't know really basic things. I don't think anyone should be embarassed because they don't know what a SYN/ACK is or what ext3 even means.
The workshop I want to do is kind of like a tech-confessional.I want to start at level 0 with anyone who is interested, whatever that may be. Things that we have thought of is: TCP/IP and networking basics, linux systems and tools (different distro's, installing, using basic tools, and fundamental network tools), introductory cryptography, and a bunch of other things.
